Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TintScale ("the Service"), operated by Lime Apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

TintScale is a web-based design token generator that allows users to create color palettes, typography scales, and preview them on website templates. The Service is currently free during our launch period with all features included.

Free Access During Launch

TintScale is free during our launch period. All features are available to registered users, including palette generation, template previewing, multi-format export, image palette extraction, and saved palettes. A free account is required to access the editor. We will provide advance notice before introducing paid plans.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to notify us of any unauthorized access.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to circumvent access restrictions
  • Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or abuse the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Upload malicious files or content through the image extraction feature
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose

Intellectual Property

Your content: Color palettes, typography configurations, and exported design tokens you create belong to you. You retain full ownership of your design work.

Our content: The TintScale application, templates, code, and branding are owned by Lime Apps and protected by copyright. The template previews are for demonstration purposes — they do not grant rights to the template designs themselves.

Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

TintScale is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Lime Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your saved data will be deleted within 30 days.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
